A gift

  • My yard has provided some wonderful gifts. Today, of all things we discovered bamboo growing and passed sometime in our yard. Left me with a wonderful staff of some kind. I still need a broom and Wand. I plan on meditating to determine what to make of it.
  • I have no doubt that bamboo growing outside of Atlanta without it being planted on purpose is a gift.

Misleading readings

  • As an empath sometimes I get a reading and I know it, I believe it. However, even though I know how someone feels, the outcome doesn't happen as I expected.
  • Most notably, I expected to get a job. I read form the person who interviewed me that she wanted to give me the job. It felt so certain. Then when I went for the second interview I steel still read from her that she wanted to give me the job. Unfortunately, she wasn't the one who had the final say. A man, who didn't like women made the choice decided to hire someone else.
  • Sigh, very humbling... And well a lesson. Even when you read a wonderful positive answer it isn't always the outcome. Sometimes there are people involved you can't read.
  • *sigh*

Harvesting & another spell

  • I spent some time in my yard this morning. Enjoying the spring blooming. I thanked the Goddess and God for such beautiful gifts, and collected some to be used later.
  • Then this evening helped my best friend by casting a job spell with her. Something so she could put her positive energy out there regarding work. It felt good, I sort of adapted a spell to fit the need. Told her that tonight her audience is the heavens and she can speak her reasonable wants regarding work. She is such a giving person. Half of the spell was to assure the ones left behind would be protected and find fulfillment.
  • It was a pleasure to help her with this.

Well, I am just starting my journey itself.  The first thing I suggest is read and research.  Scott Cunningham’s A Guide for the Solitary Practioner is what I’m currently reading.  I love his approach.

The biggest thing is open your heart and mind.  There are many people out there that say they are Wiccan, and I’m sure they are.  Just keep in mind, it’s a very subjective religion with tons of opinions .  You will know when you have found the right “fit”.

Walking through the yard

  • When I purchased this house I loved all the plants but don't have any idea what most of them are. I uploaded most of the pictures. Would love some help in recognizing what these are.
  • Even though its cold outside today, my yard is wonderfully coming alive.
